If you live anywhere that get occasionally storm related power outages or you like to camp/hike/etc. then you need one of these. It has AM/FM and Weather which is a huge plus for any of the above situations. It also has a nice soft light good for night reading or just finding something in the dark under the solar panel. Has a decent flash light for finding a better flashlight with. The SOS feature is nice and the audible signal is loud. The hand crank feature is nice for when the regular batteries are dead the L-ion is low but there isn't any sun to charge it. Also has a USB that is hand to charge phones and other low power devices. Buy one of these. Even if you never have to use it, it's better to be prepared!

I have been looking for a hand crank radio for awhile and on a whim I did some searching on here. After reading some reviews I decided to go with this model. I was quite surprised with the quality and features for the money that I spent on it. First and very importantly, the hand crank is well made and definitely feels like you could crank it for quite awhile without an issue. It can be powered and has the lithium ion that can be charged via cranking or by using the solar panel. I found the radio reception to work very well in my area and am impressed with it's ability to charge devices via the USB. It also has an SOS mode that makes an audible sound to alert others if you were to get separated or lost. The lights are bright and are a nice feature.
In summary, I would say it is a great buy not just for massive emergencies and disasters but could be useful on hiking, camping or fishing trips as well as a layer of added protection if something goes wrong.

Most recent power outages during high wind gusts made me hi into my emergency bag and grab this gadget that I forgot I even purchased. The light can see so far away and the illumination of it was great. The sound quality was ok . We fell asleep that night listening to MLB radio. I have never charged the thing since I bought it so I was shocked it lasted the 12hrs. There is a crank that you can use if you need it powered, there is also a solar panel on top for extended battery life . There is charger outlets, an antenna, flashlight, radio, battery optional, hand crack, heavy duty sturdy feel to it and that’s what we needed to get us thru the night. Best purchase ever. Lasted 12hrs right out the box no batteries or cranking needed.

What a cool and multi function device for emergencies and camping.... This is not a power converter or inverter that has 110V plug outlets and enough wattage to provide your home and appliances to work during brownouts or more. What this great power tool can do is provide basic needs for smartphones and other USB type of devices to stay charged and more. The functions are: Built in Lithium battery built in for charge, a place for AA batteries, solar panel, hand cranked charging, built in radio and even a flashlight. All of these functions for a very affordable price. The solar panel and hand crank can be folded and snapped back into the device. My best purchase ever! I lost power the day before Hurricane Ian came on shore, and was without power for more than a week after. Without power, internet or cell service, this radio was my only way of knowing what had happened everywhere in Florida, local updates, where power was reportedly on and off, business updates, providing emergency phone numbers, just proving information to the public without any other way to receive that information. The solar power charge was perfect! I would give this 10 stars if I could!
