I was wanting to buy a action camera for my son to use at the beach this year for vacation, but couldn't justify the gopro price. So I saw this camera and read the reviews and watched youtube videos on it and decided to give it a try. It was priced in a range I could afford. I have used a gropro before and knew the quality video it produced. The camera was ready to go out of the box , I walked around outside the house and shot a test video. The led screen on the back makes it easy to see what you are filming. I came in hooked up the transfer cable and was amazed at the quality of video this thing can record. Is it as good as a top of the line gopro? probably not, but for the price you cant go wrong with this camera. So after the test run I tried it and it works great starting and stopping the recording from a distance. I tested the waterproof case without the camera in it first. It was good to go no leaks. The real test will be when we hit the beach in a few weeks, if anything happens I will update review.

this camera has meet all my expectations. recently went to the beach on vacation and took it along. we had taken some pic's with our phones, there was a couple fishing down the beach and the lady had caught some thing so I got my camera out and went over by her and started filming . she fought her catch in to the shore and it was a 42" shark. after all the picture taking and measuring the shark the guy picked it up and took it back out let it recover and it swam back out. I showed the lady the video I had taken on my camera. she was impressed with the camera. I told her I got it from here. she brought my disk back the next day and told me she had ordered one for herself.

Bought this camera for my son. He wanted to start making videos, and I didn't want to spend a fortune on a hobby that lasted a week. This little gem does everything he wants to do. It comes with enough accessories to handle most anything. I am no techie, so I was no expert on cameras, last videos i made was when everyone had VCR's, but just watching him use it, It's easier then I thought and I have even started making videos of fishing trips, trips to the beach, deer wandering through my yard, etc. One other thing I have used it for, is working on equipment I am not familiar with, taking a picture in the past isn't as good as a video when you can't remember where that part went. All things considered, this was a great deal and i am thinking about getting the next model up, who knows, I could be the next big YouTube star . Great camera for the money!

I purchased this action camera specifically for an island vacation, wanting something to be able to capture something words couldn’t. Ive never purchased an action camera before and don’t know too much about them. Ive read reviews and watched YouTube videos about this product to try and make somewhat of an educated purchase. You will find people who love it and those who are not impressed comparing it to a more popular brand. In the pictures I have posted, you can see that it works better than expected. The picture and video quality is great, at least for me anyway. I took it through some serious off road hiking trails (safe in the waterproof casing always) and against some serious ocean waves. If you’re not looking to spend a lot of money and want good quality, this camera great. This camera was better than I expected and the best purchase I made preparing for our vacation.

I recently bought a motorhome which i picked up at the dealer today. All new motorhomes come with a walkthrough where you get a chance to examine the unit for issues and a technician shows you how to work all of the systems - water, sewer, generator, coach battery, air conditioner, refrigerator, etc. I wanted to video and record the whole thing which usually takes about an hour This seemed like the perfect thing to use for this purpose - plus i was looking for an excuse to buy one anyhow. I used it today both inside and got amazing results. The audio was surprisingly clear and the video was top quality. Camera is easy to use and comes with a remote control wrist strap.
Great little camera - i am sure i will find many other uses for it.
